The process

Nobody writes you a program on day one.

Because on day one we don't know enough to write you a good one. Here's what actually happens, start to finish.

Step 1

Intake

A detailed questionnaire covering training history, sport and position, weekly schedule, injury history, goals, and movement background. This is not a formality — it's what determines the starting level and the first block. If we get this wrong, everything downstream is wrong.

Step 2

Assessment

Before we load anything, we look at how the athlete actually moves — a seven-pattern battery covering squat, hinge, lunge, push, pull, core, and dynamic work. We program to the weaker pattern, not the flattering one. Injuries override everything.

Step 3

Program build

Individualized programming built from the intake and assessment — matched to the athlete's level, their sport calendar, and the schedule they actually have. A coach reviews the plan with you before training starts.

Step 4

Training, delivered

Everything lives in our coaching platform. Each session is laid out clearly — what to do, how much, and why. No guessing in the gym, no texting for clarification.

Step 5

Weekly check-in

The athlete submits a check-in each week. A coach reads it and writes back. Not an automated dashboard — an actual person looking at how the week went and adjusting from there.

Step 6

Reassessment

Roughly every six weeks we re-test and rebuild the next block off real data. Seasons change, bodies change, kids grow. The program moves with it instead of pretending it won't.

The framework

Every athlete starts at a level, not an age

A 14-year-old who has trained for three years and a 22-year-old who has never lifted are not the same athlete. We classify by training history and movement competency, not birthday.

L1 — Physical Literacy

Under six months of structured training. The work here is learning to move well before anything gets heavy.

L2 — Learn to Train

Six months to two years. Building the base and earning the right to load.

L3 — Train to Perform

Two to four years. Real loading, real intent, programming that starts serving the sport directly.

L4 — Tip of the Spear

Four-plus years. High performance, tight margins, precise management of load and recovery.

When we don't know, we start conservative and earn the level. Youth athletes get re-assessed after growth spurts, because a body that just added four inches is a different body.

Inside a training block

Build the base. Load it. Then express it.

Programs move through phases rather than doing the same thing forever. BUILD establishes capacity and quality. LOAD adds real weight and intent. EXPRESS turns it into speed and power when it matters — usually right when the season does.

Day types

Sessions are biased toward a quality — STRONG, FAST, DURABLE, or EXPLODE — so the week has a shape instead of being four identical hard days in a row.

Load guardrails

Every movement carries a nervous-system cost and a structural cost. We track both across the week so a Tuesday doesn't quietly ruin a Saturday.

What you'll use

The tools, and what each one is for

Coaching platform

Where the program lives. Sessions, video demonstrations, logging, progress tracking, and your direct line to your coach.

Wearables (optional)

Apple Health, Oura, Garmin, or Whoop can feed sleep and recovery data in automatically. Helpful, not required.

Nutrition tracking (optional)

If food is part of the plan, tracking syncs in so your coach sees the whole picture instead of guessing.

The AIQ community

A private community that comes with every level of coaching. Education, discussion, and the people doing the same work.

Weekly check-in

The structured conversation that keeps the program honest. Submitted by you, read and answered by a coach.

Reassessment

Scheduled re-testing so progress is measured, not assumed.

Stop guessing about your athlete.

Start with the Blueprint. A few minutes of intake, and we'll know more about your athlete than most people who've coached them for a season.
